Mural Pricing General murals include simple themes such as landscapes, seascapes, farm scenes, buildings, covered bridges, lighthouses, etc. with a few some small figures (animals and people); not much detail. Deluxe murals include more complex themes and simple montage designs with some small machinery, trains, automobiles, street scenes, larger figures, zoo animals, wildlife, etc.; more detail. Customized murals include very complex themes, elaborate montage, portraits (busts or full figure), life size animals, specific buildings, industry, locomotives, riverboats, heavy equipment, marching bands, soldiers, special events, etc.; very detailed.
PAINTED DIRECTLY ON THE WALL OR ON CANVAS* General: $35.00 per square foot up to 10’ - $60.00 per square foot above 10 ‘ Deluxe: $50.00 per square foot up to 10’ - $75.00 per square foot above 10’ Customized: $75.00 per square foot up 10’ - $100.00 per square foot above 10’ *The cost of the canvas will be added to the artist fee.
PAINTED ON PANELS ** General: $35.00 per square foot plus the cost of the surface material and paint 4'x 8' panels - $1120.00 each 4'x 10' panels - $1400.00 each Deluxe: $50.00 per square foot plus the cost of the surface material and paint 4'x 8' panels - $1600.00 each 4'x 10' panels - $2000.00 each Customized: $65.00 per square foot plus the cost of the surface material and paint 4'x 8' panels -$2080.00 each 4'x 10' panels - $2600.00 each **Travel and/or installation expenses will be added to the artist fee. The client will be expected to supply reference material for customized themes. |
